Regret

Do I have regret . . .

Doesn't everybody?

regret  -- a : to mourn the loss or death of  b : to miss very much  2 : to be very sorry for

I mourn the loss of my innocence.

I mourn the death of loved ones.

I miss Auntie and Uncle Horace so much.

I am so sorry for not having been the wife and mother I wanted be.

Regret gets a bad rap these days. But lets remember -- people who suffer from Antisocial personality disorder and Dis-social Personality Disorder are incapable of feeling regret or remorse -- so maybe regret isn't all that bad. I don't want to live a life riddled with regret, but I also don't want to go through life unable to acknowledge struggles, losses, and mistakes.

So yes, regrets, I've had a few.
